Doing the impossible is possible...
Fid#014: Pushing the boundaries of your content creation journey
Hey K-reator!
What is one thing you believe is impossible?
Aside from the obvious, such as the fact that humans cannot fly, I've been reflecting recently on what impossibility means to me. Sometimes I wonder if the limitations we know are those guided by our prejudices or those guided by reality, and if we really expand our vision a little wider, we might see our initial limitations are just little steps out of reach. Once upon a time, the technologies we now enjoy were only a pipe dream, but we are now living the dream.
One of the most appealing aspects of being a creator or creative person is the ability to generate ideas from nothing and accomplish what the average person would consider impossible or produce unexpected results. Instead of the daring creativity and uniqueness we expect from creative people, we sometimes find almost the same kind of content with no unique touch or individuality.
As a creator, how do you accomplish the impossible?
If I sound like a motivational speaker today or find my content "aspire to perspire" worthy, blame it on the amount of Mr Beast content I've consumed this week 😂. This is not about the amount of money he gives away or the impossible task he takes on, but about his sheer value of quality and attention to detail. Being a creator is relatively simple these days, as everyone has access to the internet and a mobile device with something to say or do, but standing out is difficult. One thing that all very successful creators who have made an impact in their respective fields have in common is that they were specific about breaking the limits and doing the impossible in their respective ways because they know that being ordinary will not suffice.

Accomplishing the impossible as a creator does not mean solving global poverty or finding solutions to climate change, but rather taking your content creation quest in your niche to the next level. Setting certain standards that can serve as yardsticks for the next contents and everyone who comes across your content. Instead of trying to follow trends and do what every other creator is doing, creatively coming up with ideas to pass your message will not only pique the interest of new fans, but also brands and everyone else watching. This keeps people guessing about what will happen next and how you will continue to blow their minds.
I've always been a big fan of the extraordinary, so basic or ordinary just won't do. Given how short our attention spans are as humans, I'm sure most people will agree that doing something out of the ordinary is more fascinating. There are numerous factors that distinguish a creator, but one that stands out at all times is the content style.
I understand that the more creative the content, the higher the cost, which is unfair to new creators, but some levels of creativity cost even less and require a good fraction of your imagination.
Don't limit yourself to what is commonly done or what the average creator in your field does; instead, be intentional about breaking the limits and accomplishing the impossible, because impossibility is sometimes based on perception and how far we look or know, but not on how of what could be.
